Miss Jess ATIDTA, AFIDTA, ABD, PBT, ACROTRIX
Owner & Principal Teacher
Miss Jess has been teaching dance to pre-schoolers, children and adults since 2011, and in September 2023 she opened her own school, Jessica Leigh Dance Studios. Miss Jess is a qualified IDTA teacher under both the Theatre and Freestyle branches, and also holds qualifications in ABD Theatre branch, Progressing Ballet Technique and AcroTrix. Miss Jess has performed professionally in the industry alongside the likes of Example, Taboo (Black Eyed Peas), and dancing in a music video filmed in Ibiza, as well as gaining work experience at the prestigious Pineapple Dance Studios. It has always been Miss Jess' dream to open her own school and she can't believe she is finally living it!
Miss Jess is a huge Disney fan, and even celebrated her 30th birthday at Disneyland Paris with family - does this mean a JLDS Disney trip is on the cards???
Rio aka Mr Jess
Owner, Studio Manager, DIY man and everything else in between
Rio, who has now been nicknamed 'Mr Jess', is Miss Jess' husband. He does everything from running the studios to cleaning the toilets and he will always be around to help. However, you won't see him in the classes as he has two left feet!
